End User Licence Agreement – Thinkific and online courses

1. Definitions
The ‘Company’ – INJ Associates Ltd, trading as Evidence Based Education
The ‘Services’ – access to one of our online training courses
The ‘User’ – the end user (an individual) who accesses the online training courses
2. Information about us
Evidence Based Education is a trading name of INJ Associates Ltd. INJ Associates Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales with company number 07824913. The registered address is 1 Grange Crescent, Sunderland SR2 7BN. INJ Associates Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office, registration number ZA136074.
3. Behaviours of use
In order to maintain our online courses as a place of professional discourse, we ask that Users adhere to the following guidelines:
The User must:
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations with respect to use of the Services.
The User must not:
- Transfer access privileges to any third-parties, whether by sharing logins, by screen sharing/recording, or by other means.
- Rent, lease, sublicense, re-sell, distribute, transfer, copy or modify the Services or any component thereof.
- Translate, decompile, or create or attempt to create, by reverse engineering or otherwise, the source code from the object code made available hereunder.
- Reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store or transmit the Services or any portion thereof.
- Delete or alter any copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights notices from copies of materials from the platform or contained in the Services.
- Become engaged in bullying, harassment or hate speech on any discussion platform. Hate speech attacks people based on ‘protected characteristics’ which include race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, sex, gender, gender identity or serious disability or disease.
- Become engaged in making credible threats of violence, serious physical harm, or death.
- Impersonate others in a manner that does or is intended to mislead or deceive others.
The User should not post content which:
- Divulges the identity of specific children, schools, colleges or their staff, either through use of their full names or by posting pictures. It is important for safeguarding reasons that identifiable details of any pupil are not shared on this platform.
- Collects or stores personal data about others.
- Includes explicit violence, gore or pornographic content.
- Could amount to unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, junk mail or spam.
- Contains software viruses or any other computer code.
- Violates someone else’s copyright, trademark or right of publicity. They must also refrain from sharing anyone else’s post or comment on any external platform without their prior explicit written consent.
4. Our rights and responsibilities
We reserve the right to remove accounts which we think are in breach of the above terms.
We also reserve the right to use usage-related data, in an anonymised format, for research purposes and to improve the quality of the Services we offer. All personal and usage-related data are held in accordance with the GDPR; for more on this, see our Privacy Policy.
