Evidence Based Education is thrilled to announce that Kate Jones will be joining the team from September 2022 on a part-time basis as Senior Associate for Teaching and Learning.
I am so excited to have the chance to work with Kate. I have long admired her books and other writings for the way she grounds practical, relevant, useable advice in the most rigorous evidence, often collaborating directly with the world’s greatest experts. She is perfect for this role in developing the Great Teaching Toolkit, bringing her expertise in connecting classroom practice, professional learning and robust research.β Professor Rob Coe
Kate is a teacher of Humanities, History and Politics who has held department and school leadership roles. She taught in the UK before a spell in the UAE, recently returning to her native Wales. Never one to stand still, Kate is author of six books and has more on the way!

I have been a fan of the team at Evidence Based Education for a long time. The Great Teaching Toolkit is a fantastic resource – evidence-informed, accessible and ultimately very helpful. The Toolkit combines theory with practical advice for teachers and I look forward to contributing to its development and sharing it with schools across the UK and beyond. It is a privilege to join such an insightful and motivated team and I can’t wait to work with teachers and school leaders as part of Evidence Based Education.” Kate Jones
